Independent tours around the Niemilomat terrains

The nature surrounding us is our most precious resource, and we wish our guests to experience it too. The surrounding area has two Laavu lean-to shelters, which all outdoor enthusiasts have free access to.


Nature trail

The forests surrounding Niemilomat include a nature trail with information and queries on the Finnish nature. In the winter you can rent snowshoes from Niemilomat for your hike. The nature trail has three routes with varying distances (0,8-3 km).

The Tetriniemi Laavu lean-to shelter

The Laavu lean-to shelter at the Tetriniemi cape is situated along the nature trail onshore of Lake Unnukka, in the middle of a beautiful scenery. All recreationists have free access to the Laavu. At the Laavu there is a campfire site, some firewood, a barbeque grate, and a black pot for making campfire coffee. The Laavu is situated approximately 500 metres along the trail. The Laavu can also be reached by a boat from the lake, and the shore is suitable for swimming.

The Eno Laavu lean-to shelter

The Eno Laavu lean-to shelter is situated on the isle of Eno close to Niemilomat. All recreationists have free access to the Laavu, and an overnight stay is also possible. The Laavu has a campfire site, some firewood, and a barbeque grate. The isle of Eno is situated approximately half a kilometre from Niemilomat.
